Jelly

So... Topshop has opened in sydney; cue horrendous lines and terribly overpriced stock but with that being said I did find a few things I liked (and could justify buying in store and not online.)

Firstly, I am in love with Jelly sandals all over again. I got my first pair at the grand old age of 8 and they were clear with gold sparkles. I was obsessed....and it turns out I still am. I am still waiting for these to come back in stock in my size but I figured that these Topshop ones would do in the meantime.

I also got this blue silk cami which has the sweetest little flowers on it. I am fairly happy with these garments but I don't think ill be going back to Topshop for a little while as it is definitely not worth the hype.

Whimsical

(Vintage Circle Skirt, Michael Kors Watch, Topshop 'Mighty' Boots, Tights and 'Whimsical' Lipstick)

Just a basic outfit for the day. I Did a quick DIY job on this vintage circle skirt using some safety pins and voila...two skirt styles in one.
I am having a bit of an obsessive relationship with these Topshop 'Mighty' Boots and their Lipstick in the shade Whimsical. They arrived in an order a few days ago and neither have left my being since. This shade is a perfectly subtle and neutral peachy colour that is relevant and acceptable for every situation which has cemented it's place in my bag at all times.

Just chilling around near Sydney's infamous 'The Gap. I usually prefer to come here at night when you can't see how big the drop is, but you can hear the crashing of waves onto the rocks somewhere below in the near silent night. It somehow has a moody and tortured yet romantic vibe which reminds me of many a Keats poem...
"The moving waters at their priestlike task,
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores"... ringing any bells...anyone?

Well I guess that's just me then!

I had a bit of a 90s thing going on yesterday what with my cropped denim jacket and flatforms but hopefully it still looks modern enough? Happy sunday
