Blossom

(Stylestalker Dress (old), Zara Vest, Feliks and Adrik Cutout Cross Bracelet, H&M Rose Gold Bangle)

Yep, it's official, I am flower obsessed which I must say is a first for me. I have always hated flowers (especially cut flowers) on account of the inevitability of their ultimate demise, however I have recently visited a few places that have changed my mind.
Collette Dinnigan's Sydney offices are one such place, where white flower are displayed in bulbous glass vases which sit atop sprawling wooden desks against the backdrop of floor to ceiling windows cloaked in embroidered and semi-transparent white curtains....yes I know I am getting a bit carried away! Such a beautiful space, but sadly my description doesn't do it justice.

These cherry blossoms (which I swear I haven't seen in Sydney before) do much the same thing to me. So beautiful and delicate.

Oh and I guess I should mention my outfit... I figured why not spend the day wearing half a faux wolf's pelt and a barely there summer dress?

Loving the reality of Sydney's short winters which make winter outfits like the above possible. Jealous my international followers? (and Melbournians) ? I bet!

In my spare time, when I am not at uni, studying or working 11 hour days (like I did yesterday) I am on a quest for the perfect wall of floral goodness. This post has also made me realise that my wardrobe is suffering from a definite denim shorts deficiency but I am thinking that these are the perfect cure.  I am in love, but I think it is wise to hold off until I am 100% sure that the worst of winter is over!

This brief burst of summery sun and warm breezes has reminded me that the long-awaited light at the end of winter's tunnel is getting closer.

Just chilling around near Sydney's infamous 'The Gap. I usually prefer to come here at night when you can't see how big the drop is, but you can hear the crashing of waves onto the rocks somewhere below in the near silent night. It somehow has a moody and tortured yet romantic vibe which reminds me of many a Keats poem...
"The moving waters at their priestlike task,
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores"... ringing any bells...anyone?

Well I guess that's just me then!

I had a bit of a 90s thing going on yesterday what with my cropped denim jacket and flatforms but hopefully it still looks modern enough? Happy sunday

(Rag and Bone/Jean Tee, Sass and Bide 'Skinny Boy' Jeans, Vintage Belt, Quick Brown Fox Necklace, Ebay Talon Cuff.)

Just a casual outfit I wore to uni once this week. Although I may be repeat offending with this new rag and bone/jean tee from Shopbop, I just can't get enough of it! With spinal detailing and a super soft almost transparent finish, it's the perfect basic.

I am also absolutely in love with the Revlon Just Bitten 'Balm Stain' that Ben's sister Laura brought me back from the UK as a present. It is creamy and like a balm but the colour stays put even after the product has come off, not to mention the fact that it smells refreshingly minty.

Aviation

(Vintage aviation style leather and shearling jacket, Rag and Bone Basic Tee, Subtitled Leatherette Leggings, Ebay Talon Cuff, Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain.)

It was a pretty busy day yesterday with new constructions starting at my boyfriend's place (where I am staying), his sister Laura returning home from a month in England and a whole lot of goodies arriving in the mail! Most notably I received this talon cuff (pamela love knockoff) for only 4 english pounds! Bargain. I've also since found it on another Ebay seller's listing for only 1.95 pounds, which is even better.

This is a super old jacket my mum got from an op-shop in Coffs Harbour some time ago. I kinda love the mismatched leathers look although it's probably not something I'd just pop down to the shops in.
