I purchased these pants over a year ago at Zara and although I don't wear them very often I can't seem to chuck them out. I think this is as close as I'm going to get to the way I meant to wear them all those months ago. So I have decided to hold onto them for one more season as they are the perfect texture and weight for spring.

I am loving the warmer weather at the moment and relishing in thoughts of tan grecian sandals, crisp white shirts, denim cutoffs and white interiors. There is nothing better than leaving all the windows open to allow the sweet air to float gently in.

Sheepskin

My latest acquisitions; a sheepskin rug which, although not the most sensible purchase (as this week has heralded the arrival of spring a week or two early), seemed like the perfect addition while I was passing through the airport last weekend and a new 100% silk camisole (this time by Alexander Wang.)

 Once you are onto a good thing I figure why change it? My ever expanding collection of camisoles for summer are the perfect antidote to hot weather and that not-so-nice sticky feeling. I am tending to gravitate towards lighter colours such as whites, creams and nudes for the coming months with light makeup and a quick slick of a pinky nude lipstick, just to keep it interesting.

Just a basic outfit for the day. I Did a quick DIY job on this vintage circle skirt using some safety pins and voila...two skirt styles in one.
I am having a bit of an obsessive relationship with these Topshop 'Mighty' Boots and their Lipstick in the shade Whimsical. They arrived in an order a few days ago and neither have left my being since. This shade is a perfectly subtle and neutral peachy colour that is relevant and acceptable for every situation which has cemented it's place in my bag at all times.

One of the perks of my job is getting to travel and earn money at the same time. This weekend I had the pleasure of jetting off to the picturesque paradise that is Hamilton Island for a Collette Dinnigan Show. It's been great to get away (even if only for 24hrs) and so incredibly relaxing. I even managed to squeeze in a beach-side yoga class this morning although said yoga class has also left me unable to carry my luggage..what a fail. I think these shorts and silk camisoles are going to set the tone for the rest of my wardrobe for this coming summer (along with the collection of lwds -little white dresses- that I am currently accumulating.) It's all about a relaxed effortless look along with understated makeup and the perfect pair of flat sandals for which the search continues!

I have been incredibly busy over the past few days modelling for the David Jones Spring Summer Launch 2012. It has been a crazy few days what with early morning call times, meeting Miranda Kerr and enduring painful shoes not to mention the fact that I just realised that I walked the catwalk a whopping 48 times in the past 3 days!! I thought I would show you one of the hair and makeup looks from the show. Learn how to get the look here. 

Now I'm back at uni for a few days before I fly to Hamilton Island for a Colette Dinnigan fashion show on the weekend. Definitely looking forward to a bit of warm weather, fingers crossed! Also in other news, I finally have a watch again! It's so nice to not have to rummage around in my bag to find the time.

I spent today shooting the online lookbook for Shallow Store in Bondi. Tucked away in a walkway behind Bondi's main strip, Shallow stocks an awesome range of Australian and International labels. This stunning white camilla and marc piece that we shot today is one I have been lusting after for a while now. Its modest neckline yet immodest open back achieve the perfect amount of decency.
